Former MSC Player Signs Professional Contract with NJ Sky Blue

The Madison Soccer Club proudly congratulates one of our former players, Catherine Zimmerman, on signing a professional contract with Sky Blue FC of the National Women’s Soccer League. Catherine was named a Player of the Year by the Daily Record in 2010 at Madison High School, where she scored 22 goals in her senior year and led Madison to their first Group 2 North state title since 1987. She then went on to Providence College where she was a 4-year starter and was an All-BIG EAST First Team player.

Sky Blue FC plays their home games at Yurcak Field on the campus of Rutgers University in Piscataway. The MSC encourages everyone to go out to catch a game and support one of our own, playing alongside and against world-class players including her Sky Blue teammates, US National Team members Christie Rampone and Kelly O’Hara.

The Madison Soccer Club is also excited that Catherine has been participating in our summer clinics as a trainer.
